FAQ

I am new to Lucid Dreaming, What is it?

Lucid Dreaming is a psychological phenomenon where you are aware you are dreaming, as  you are dreaming, consciously present in a virtual reality formed by your own subconsciousness.

Science has proven with MRI & Cat scans that parts of the brain that are associated with situational and self awareness are switched back on in the lucid dreaming (or consciously aware) state. The location of the meta consciousness areas of the brain are still a mystery but it is know that the cerebral cortex plays a vital role in lucid dreaming.

The right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex is commonly assosiated with self assessment and the frontopolar regions of the brain deal with evaluating thoughts, feelings and emotions.
